Making escapement stem

The escapement stem had been repaired badly. I guess a watchmaker who repaired it couldn’t make a right stem, and just replaced it with a wrong part.

The both upper and lower stems are not right size and shape. It needs to made and replaced.

Turning off for escapement.

Turning off for upper stem.
It was polished and Burnished.

The lower stem was turned off as the same as upper one.
